2021 Cappellano, Barbera d'Alba Price_52 and a faint smoky note—SyrahDark fruited and powerful Barbera from the Serralunga area. Cappellano is one of the great addresses in all of Piemonte. We get a box of Barbera and Dolcetto every year, and they are always incredible iterations of the humble Piedmont lunch wines. Nice wine to warm the soul during cold nights and capable of ageing too. Best to decant for an hour. Awesome wine with a burger and fries.
